Ongoing Classes

Homebuilders Class                   9:30 a.m.                               H230
This is a large class of adults from middle years to years of wisdom.  It features spiritual guest speakers each Sunday.  The class has social time every week as well as social events outside of Sunday School.  The class sponsors activites for the church as well as mission projects.

Morford Bible Study                   9:30 a.m.                                 E18
This class is doing a progressive study of the Bible under a variety of teachers.  Their goal is to read and discuss the entire Bible.  A study guide is used and class discussion is encouraged.  The small size of the group encourages conversation among the members.

Rev. Art Whitney's Harmony Class       9:30 a.m.                 Library 
This class of couples and singles on May 27 began the study of Praising the God of Grace:  The Theology of Charles Wesley's Hymns by Charles Yrigoyen, Jr. 

Seekers Class                             9:30 a.m.                                 E23
This Seekers, who are both couples and singles, use a variety of books and video studies on different topics.  This class features spirited and spirit filled discussions as well as social activites.   Join them for Sunday School and church before going to lunch with them.

College and Young Adults        10:30 a.m.                              H232
This class for college age and young adults follows the 9:30 worship services and will be over in time for those who wish to attend the 11:00 services.  It is for Young Adults of ages 18-30 is studying the Bible and features open dicussion.  For more information on the Young Adult program click here.

New Member Class                   11:00 a.m.                    E26 Library
(The 2nd Sunday of each moncth)
Anyone interested in becoming a member of Catalina or in learning more about Catalina and The United Methodist Church are invited to attend.   A history of the church and the church's ministires are presented followed by a free luncheon with the church staff.  An optional tour of the campus closes the class.
