AT CATALINA
Purpose:

ship of women who meet for study, fellowship
and service. You are invited to become a part
of United Methodist Women at Catalina."
The new year of United Methodist Women will being a bright new season of Joy, Fellowship and Sutdy. All women are invited to join the Unit Meeting, on Tuesday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m., in room H230.
The monthly unit meeting is open to all women and is held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in H230. In addition to the unit meeting, the UMW has eight “Circle Groups”: Circles 1, 5 Friendship, New and Shalom; the Priscilla Bible Study; the Fellowship/Crafts Circle and Sewing Group. Please join any of these groups that fit your schedule and interests:
Circle 1 - meets the 2nd Monday at 7:15 p.m. in homes
Friendship Circle - meets the 2nd Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the church
Circle 5 - meets the 2nd Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the church
Shalom Circle - meets the 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the church
New Circle - meets the 4th Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the church
Priscilla Bible Study - meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at the church
Sewing Group - meets the 3rd Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the church
Fellowship/Crafts Circle - meets the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at the church
The UMW will hold its Annual UMW Red Bazaar on Saturday, October 27th, to raise money for missions.
The 19th Annual Women's Holiday Brunch, sponsored by the UMW, will be held Saturday, November 17th. The meal is served by the Singing Waitors, composed of men from the Sanctuary Choir. The wonderful food and great entertainment are all designed to perpare your hearts and minds for the Celebration of Christ's birth. Tickets went on sale in October and will sell out quickly. Watch for the updated information this fall.
UNITED METHODIST MEN AT CATALINA
The United Methodist Men are a group of men of all ages who meet regularly for breakfast, fellowship, and service to their Lord.
From September through May the United Methodist Men meet on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast and a speaker. They have a wonderful time together and you are invited to become a part of United Methodist Men at Catalina!
The first meeting of this new year will be Saturday, September 8. The United Methodist Women, as well as all men and women in the church, are invited to come for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m. our youth will report on their participation in Youth 2007, a world-wide gathering of United Methodist youth this summer.
