Alpha Course

CUMC's new Alpha Course not only addresses the key questions of most non-believers but also demonstrates two essentials of our lifestyle - non-judgemental fellowship and small group companionship. Developed in England, this friendly program offers believers and non-believers an opportunity to learn about and share their questions on key issues of the Christian life.

Disciple Bible Study

This is a detailed 32 week study of discipleship in the Bible.  It is one of the best Bible studies offered for learning the Old and New Testaments.  Lots of reading and reflection as well as a workbook are to be done at home.  There is very little lecturing and lots of group participation.  Short videos are presented at each class.  This is considered a training program for becoming a disciple.

Walk to Emmaus

An Upper Room program that calls forth and renews Christian discipleship. Like its predecessor, Cursillo de Christianidad (Spanish for "Short course in Christianity"), the Walk to Emmaus is a three-day experience which takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a life style. It is a highly structured weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people, and through them their families, congregations and the world in which they live. Emmaus is a combined effort of laity and clergy toward the renewal of the church.
